Do You need a packing list on Your export shipment?

Absolutely! Without an export packing list your package can not be shipped properly.

Every package shipping out of the United States should have an export packing list. An export packing list shows an itemized list of the package contents. Your packing list should be attached to the outside of the package in a clearly marked waterproof envelope. Your packing list should include gross and net weights in both U.S. pounds and metric, along with the tare weight. Package markings should be shown along with the shipper’s and buyer’s references. Customs officials may use the packing list to check the cargo at inspection points.

It is always best to check with your customer to outline specific requirements needed by their customs authorities prior to shipment to a new destination country.

Hi,

If you have only one package, you do not require a Packing list, as the Invoice contains all details of items in that single package or alternatively you could address your Invoice as ” Invoice cum Packing list”
