ISPM-15 regulations require heat treating or fumigation of wooden pallets to prevent infestation of wood eating insects spreading from one country to another during exporting. Many companies are now offering plastic pallets at a comparable price, also some pallets are made from recycled plastic. I agree with the writer where he says, “Vive la difference!.” Knowing a product well enough to differentiate one plastic pallet from another is crucial, as there is a wide range of choices available in the market.
